Macedonian .NET User Group (http://www.mkdot.net) has a dynamic, growing environment filled with opportunities for .NET professionals. The goal of the User Group is providing a venue for user education and peer collaboration.
As our goal is to encourage and support the growth of that environment we are organizing CodeCamp 2011 in Macedonia on November 26th 2011.

Code Camps are a free, one day learning event for programming professionals and students with a focus on .NET and other related technologies. Code Camps are free of charge to attendees and open to presenters of all stripes and experience.

Code Camps are:

  • By and for the developer community
  • Always free
  • Community developed material
  • No fluff – only code
  • Community ownership
  • Never occur during working hours

Our event follows the standard conference model. We have speakers committed to supporting over 10 sessions across 2 tracks. The sessions will run approximately 60 minutes, with 15 minute breaks between to allow time for attendee-sponsor interaction. Registration will open at 9:30am. Sessions will begin at 10:00am. A lunch will be provided on site. The last session will end around 5:00pm.

Upon arrival, attendees will complete the registration process and receive an event bag containing a full schedule, flyers, and other items from sponsors. Two items that will be of particular interest to our sponsors will be a set of printed cards with the attendee’s name and contact information and a Sponsor Interaction Card. The attendee will have the option to give you their card in return for whatever free items you may be giving away or just to enter a raffle if you are sponsoring one. This should help avoid delays normally encountered while people queue up to fill out contact forms at your table. These cards will also ensure that the information you receive is legible. Attendees can earn an extra raffle ticket at the end of the day by visiting all of our sponsors.

After the event we will send a follow-up email that will recap the day, provide links to the files from the event for download, and provide a list of all sponsors with links to their designated sites. In addition these will be displayed on the  codecamp.mkdot.net site. This email will provide sponsors with an additional opportunity to interact with attendees once the event has been completed.

As we are currently in the process of contacting possible contributors, we were hoping to talk to you about your possible involvement in our event by helping us organize it as a contributor. Fell free to contact us at codecamp@mkdot.net
